Hi, I’m Ursula Bugg — illustrator, surface designer and the artist behind The Nostalgia Bugg, my retro-inspired brand & creative studio celebrating the joy of nostalgia.

My work draws inspiration from music, vintage graphics and retro fashion and blends hand lettering, expressive characters, and a touch of humor to create artwork that feels both familiar and fresh.

With a background in graphic design, I approach every illustration with a strong sense of composition, color, and joyful storytelling, developing product-ready collections designed to translate across a wide range of categories such as stationery, paper goods, giftable items, seasonal merchandise and life style products.

Through The Nostalgia Bugg, I enjoy creating designs that spark happy memories and celebrate the pop culture moments that connect people across generations.

I’m also a lifelong learner, avid reader and foodie, and when I’m not designing, I enjoy hunting for vintage treasures, sewing and trying new crafts.
